HAVE YOU EVER FOUND YOURSELF ASKING,

'What do I need to know to earn a five figure income?'
'What do I need to succeed in life?'
'Will my degree guarantee my success?'

These are the common questions that are being discussed by the undergraduates today.

During campus life, the vast majority of undergraduates are just following the flow of things:

1. They depend solely on their study loan provided by the government to continue and further their studies.
2. They use their money unwisely - buy or change new hand phones and go shopping without any planning or putting aside money for savings!
3. They do not get involved in sport activities or clubs or associations.
4. They only equip themselves with textbook and lecture knowledge.

They assume that just by getting a degree will guarantee their success later in life! What a perspective!
After graduation,

1. Many of them are jobless and are not able to pay their study loans.
2. Many graduates are not qualified for work due to lack of soft skills – graduates cannot communicate and cannot relate with people!
3. Many graduates have little or poor general knowledge.
4. Many graduates are lacking in financial education – most take up unnecessary debts easily through the use of credit card.

Who is to blame?

Nobody is telling them what is expected and required of them upon graduation.
